The purpose and function of the MPP is to:
(a) fostering the spirit of living as a corporation among students University;

(b) subject to the direction of the Vice-Chancellor, arrange and supervise Student welfare facilities at the University include facilities recreation, spiritual and religious activities, and food supply and drinks;

(c) appeal to the Vice-Chancellor on all matters which relating to or relating to living and working conditions University student;

(d) be represented in any body that may, according to something
the rules made by the Board for that purpose, appointed to carry out student welfare activities at the University; and

(e) carry out any other activities as prescribed byBoard from time to time.
